The ultra-fine contrast on this walnut slab is our favorite to look forward to when applying the final finishes. We included a custom modern framing for the legs and coated it with a matte black finish. With a little one on the way, our client wanted to make sure the table will be as durable as it could get since it will be seeing some messy days ahead. We used a natural Rubio Monocoat finish, a hard-wax oil that protects and colors in just one coat. (We added two for a better protectant. Babies are pretty resilient.) We are happy to know a lot of memories will be made around this table.
